For such a time as this.

I’m all for letter art. My word of the year is “letter” after all.

As one of my sister-in-laws and I recently discussed, word art pieces are a really helpful shortcut for those of us who are insecure in our ability to select art for home decorating.

There are several fun pieces around our house. Song lyrics. Single words. Segments of Bible verses.

Inspiration. Beauty. Glimpses of hope. They offer all these things with a nudge of focus in a world with so many different messages clamoring for our attention and energy.

Sometimes the message we need is one of humor, one that makes our insides bubble with that fluttering mental chuckle – whether it’s intended or not.

This week, upon seeing a specific verse of word art, I nearly busted out laughing right there in the echo-y church bathroom .

“Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.”

Esther 4:14

Really? REALLY?

This moment? THIS, of all moments? Please no.

That is all.

Go in pee. I mean peace.
